Jamstack Developer.

We’re on the lookout for a part-time remote Jamstack Developer specialising in Nuxt and WordPress, able to commit to anything from 2-4 days per week.

A standard day would be likely to involve building a Jamstack website using Nuxt, the Vue.js framework, and the WordPress REST API, as well as developing a bespoke WordPress theme in order to extend the default functionality in the WordPress API and Admin interface.

The technologies you’ll be using from day to day are HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Nuxt.js/vanilla JavaScript, PHP and Git.

We create conversion-focused websites for clients in all sectors, with a focus on the property and hospitality sectors. You will work on exciting projects in which you will get a real sense of involvement, working with fellow employees as well as working with our range of friendly clients.

Responsibilities

  • Developing responsive websites and web applications, optimised for modern browsers and devices
  • Speaking to clients in order to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Being actively involved in the design and development process

Required Skills

  • HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS
  • Nuxt/Vue.js
  • Vanilla JavaScript
  • Bespoke WordPress theme development
  • Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL
  • Basic usage of Figma, Sketch or Photoshop (able to open and prepare files)
  • Basic Git knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of Netlify
