Chapman Stickels

Brief

We were asked to create a new brand and website for Chapman Stickels and also for The Letting Department - a separate brand providing Residential Lettings services. Key requirements included ensuring the two brands and websites were aligned, as well as providing a modern, clutter-free feel to the websites in order to ensure it's easy to navigate for the different user types visiting both websites.

Solution

Firstly, we started out by creating visual identity concepts for The Letting Department, based on a brief detailing the demographics and personas of typical customers as well as researching direct competitors. Once the chosen identity was refined, we created a brand guidelines document for each brand with clearly defined rules for the usage of their logo, typeface and colour pallet, ensuring brand consistency throughout any digital and print collateral.

Once the brands were in place we started to design the websites, ensuring that both websites had a similar structure so the user journey and experience remained the same between the two websites but the styling differed to reflect the identities of both brands.

The websites were built using a WordPress Multisite setup, ensuring the marketing team can edit content for both sites within a single account. They can edit all content for both websites, using a set of components that have been shared across both sites. All property data is automatically pulled into both websites from their estate agency CRM.
