Case Study
eXp UK are a team of personal agents covering the UK. They are considered one of the fastest growing estate agency businesses in history due to their approach to estate agency and the autonomy they give to their agents to provide a personalised service. All agents within the network have at least 2 years’ experience and all offer a personal, bespoke service, depending on the customers situation & circumstances.
The first requirement was to enable eXp UK to set an agent up with their own fully customisable microsite when they join the network, featuring their own logo, brand colours and properties. Part of this requirement was the ability to provide the agent with CMS access to the site so they can manage their site once it is live.
The second requirement was to create a corporate site which matched the layout of the agent microsites, featuring information about eXp UK and the services they offer along with the properties and contact details for all agents.
The third requirement was to create a recruitment site that provides more information about eXp UK and explain the benefits of joining as an agent.
Our main challenge was to create a solution that enabled eXp UK to quickly create the agent microsites without any technical steps required within the set-up, as well as adding the agent to the corporate site. We got together to produce a specification for each type of site, ensuring the end result left eXp UK with fully flexible sites that are able to grow over time without any restrictions.
The result is a WordPress Multisite instance which powers the main site along with all agent microsites. eXp UK are able to spin up an agent microsite and add the agent to the corporate site in under 20 minutes. The sites are set up with:
The corporate and recruitment sites contain strategically placed call to actions to enable users and potential agents to get in touch with ease on any mobile/tablet/desktop device, along with integrations with Mailchimp to prevent manual mailing list management.
