Japan Letting Agency first opened their doors in 1986 with a clear vision of helping Japanese professionals and families find a comfortable London-based home in an inviting corner of one of the most magnificent cities in the world, whilst offering landlords reassurance and dependency. Fast forward some 35 years, and now under new management, their vision remains the same. Their expert team passionately delivers exceptional customer service and a unique partnership culture with tenants and landlords.
What we did: Estate agent web design and development
We kicked off the project with a research phase, where we reviewed analytical data along with competitors of Japan Letting Agency, to set a strategy for the sitemap required and the content within the website. Our copywriter then started putting copy together off the back of this phase, ensuring this matched the tone of voice of Japan Letting Agency.
We then moved onto the design phase. With the website being multilingual, we ensured the site layout suited both Japanese and English versions of the website as well as making it easy for users to navigate through the site and get in touch with Japan Letting Agency.
We then developed the website with a 'Jamstack' architecture, meaning the site consists of static HTML pages (bringing huge speed advantages which help with SEO and UX) whilst still allowing Japan Letting Agency to manage the site content via WordPress. We also integrated Japan Letting Agency's estate agency software into the site for automatic property updates.
The result
The website consists of a modern, static technology stack which will ensure it remains quick, secure and performant for a number of years. Japan Letting Agency can add and edit all content for both the Japanese and English versions of the website and all property data is automatically pulled into the website from their estate agency software on a daily basis.
